During an email exchange this week, my friend Cub and I realized a new word. This is different from inventing a new word -- with realizing it is more of an acknowledgement that this word either a) probably already exists, or b) is so obvious that it's ridiculous that it doesn't exist. The word?
swisser (SWIS' er) adv./adj.
1) having a larger portion of Swiss attributes than something else.
2) being more closely related (genetically or culturally) to 'the motherland' than someone.
3) synonymous with "awesomer".
Cub was actually the one who realized the word, so I have to give him credit. But since I'm the first one to use it in a public forum, maybe I'll get some sort of acknowledgement some day...
