But earlier this week I was working on an installation up in Westminster when a little old lady who was on her daily morning walk came up and commented on how much nicer the area looked where we were working. The area had previously been a tangle of dead grass and weeds, and she was so excited that it was all nice green grass now. Then she asked me, "Is that real grass?"
This is usually not a big deal, because the turf we install does look pretty real once it's down. But I had to clarify her question, and she asked again -- "Is that real grass or some of that artificial stuff?" I had to bite my tongue, because here's exactly what it looked like when she asked me that question:
These are the people who will be choosing our next leader on Tuesday, folks! Like I've said many times before... WE ARE SCREWED.

Well, hopefully if they can ask really stupid questions like this and be serious, then maybe they'll have a really hard time finding their polling place in time.
